Workshop Overview

Ahoy, Captain! Embark on a woodworking adventure with our 'Make a Wooden Boat' project. Perfect for young beginners, this hands-on experience offers a safe introduction to woodworking. In this 1-hour class, children learn about angles, using a square, securing wood, cutting with pull saws, and basic joinery with wood glue and dowels. All tools, materials, and safety gear provided, ensuring a secure and enjoyable woodworking experience; and at the end, children get to proudly keep their wooden creations. AGE LIMIT: 5-10 DURATION: Approx. 1.5 hours. CLASS SIZE: Limited to 8 Children. SKILLS COVERED: Measuring Angles, Sawing, Joinery and Surface Finishing. TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Untreated Pine Wood, Carpenter's Pencil, Quick Square, Clamps, Sawing Guides, Pull Saws, Sanding Blocks, Various Grits of Sanding Paper, Mallet, and Wood Glue. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes early for important instructions from the Instructor. SAFETY REQUIREMENT: Wear closed-toe shoes for safety. Children without them cannot participate. ACCOMPANYING PARENT: 1 parent is welcome to stay but should not take part in the activities.


Confirmed bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once booked, the spot is reserved exclusively for your child and cannot be allocated to others. Therefore, refunds are not applicable. Please note that if your child is unable to attend the workshop, credits or make-up classes will not be provided. Additionally, bookings cannot be transferred to future sessions or to other participants.
